“Movement is fundamental to the way the brain forms ideas." — Moshe Feldenkrais
What if new ideas don’t come from thinking harder but from changing how you perceive?
In this playful, movement-based workshop, we explore how changing physical setups
changes cognition.
When height shifts, perception shifts.
When orientation changes, interpretation changes.
When breath changes, imagination opens.
We will experiment with balance, spatial variation, simple movement, and breath to experience
how:
• Ideas shift when posture shifts
• Decisions change when the environment changes
• New perspectives emerge through embodied exploration
This is not a lecture about creativity. It’s a lab.
What You’ll Experience
• Guided movement and balance experiments
• Breath-based state shifts
• Improvisational exploration
• Reflection on how perception shapes thinking
You may leave with:
• A clearer sense of creativity as a whole-body process
• Practical ways to reset perspective when stuck
• A felt experience of emergent thinking
